The King's Noyse in concert November 22 at Sundin Music Hall.

The Schubert Club and the Lyra Baroque Orchestra in partnership with Saint Paul Sunday and Sundin Music Hall present "A Royal Delight" a concert by The King's Noyse.

The performance takes place Tuesday evening, November 22nd in St. Paul, at Sundin Music Hall on the Hamline University Campus. Kings Noyse Director David Douglass and the ensemble are joined by soprano Ellen Hargis and Paul O'Dette, Lute for a concert of favorites from two of the Kings Noyse's most popular recordings — The King's Delight and The Queen's Delight — together with new tunes for the group.

This special program by this groundbreaking ensemble includes music never before performed by the Kings Noyse. The concert features instrumental works by John Baldwine, Robert Parsons, William Byrd, Samuel Scheidt, Elway Bevin, Thomas Simpson and Henry Purcell. In addition the program features songs by John Wilson and Nicholas Lanier and the trademark ballads and country dances that have made The King's Noyse so popular.
