The works by Bach père include selections from the cerebral The Art of Fugue and the ebullient Cantata 29. From his sons we have pieces in a variety of genres for two harpsichords, including a duo sonata by Johann Christian (the London Bach), a set of duets by Carl Philipp Emanuel (the Hamburg Bach), and a double concerto by Wilhelm Friedemann (the frequently unemployed Bach). Brilliant harpsichordist Rosana Lanzelotte returns to the Twin Cities to join Jacques Ogg for this rich and unusual repertoire. Presented in Collaboration with the Schubert Club.
